Campers may stay at camp between sessions for no additional cost.
Campers will do two shows over the course of the six weeks, as well as distinct acting, elective and production classes.

  • FULL-SCALE PRODUCTIONS! Over the course of the three weeks, campers rehearse productions of plays or musicals that are set, light, costume and sound designed by professional artists. Theater education remains the primary focus so these designers will teach and advise, as the students build their own productions. Performances will be all day on July 23 for family and friends, who will also get to enjoy the pool and a family barbecue.
  • CLASSES! Every morning, campers participate in elective, acting or production classes with a small group of campers of the same age and experience level. In acting class, actors receive focused instruction on their individual theater skills during scene studies by playwrights such Chris Durang and Edward Albee. Elective classes give campers the opportunities to sign up for a class of their choice, including Playwriting, Directing, Musical Theater Song and Dance and Shakespeare. These electives culminate in dynamic evening presentations and the campers apply developed skills to their rehearsal process. During production classes, campers learn from our design teachers fundamentals of theatrical design such as scenic, costume and lights.

CAMP LIFE

Campers receive around the clock supervision from our counselor staff. During downtime from theater activities, campers swim in the pool, play basketball or capture the flag, or sing show tunes at the amphitheater. Each and every camper is an essential member of our ensemble and this forges powerful bonds of friendship amongst campers.
