FINANCIAL AID AT ACTING MANITOU Acting Manitou offers financial aid to families who cannot afford to pay full tuition. Financial aid is available on a first-come, first served basis and resources are limited. Apply by December 1, responses given on December 15 Apply by March 1, responses given on March 15 Apply by May 1, responses given on May 15 There are three deadlines for financial aid applications. Families who apply by December 1 will receive a response to their aid request on December 15. Families who apply between December 2 and March 1 will receive a response to their aid request on March 15. Families who apply between March 2 and May 1 will receive a response to their aid request on May 15. Although financial aid applications will be accepted after the May 1 deadline, resources may be extremely limited or unavailable. Acting Manitou determines eligibility for admission without regard to a student's application for financial aid. Financial aid applications to Acting Manitou are highly confidential and reviewed only by the co-owners and business manager of the camp. Counselors, Teaching Artists and Directors are not granted access to financial aid information. Acting Manitou maintains the same casting standards for recipients of financial aid as it does for non-recipients. Statements and other paper documents in the Acting Manitou confidential file are destroyed after one year.
