Yesterday we had our trip day, where we all got a chance to go off campus and explore more of the beautiful state of Maine. We started our adventure by heading over to the Camp Manitou campus and taking over their waterfront while they were on their own trip day. After a morning of fun in the sun by the lake, we had a delicious cookout grilled by some of our fabulous staff. Before heading back to our campus we had our annual camper vs. staff knockout game. The staff was victorious this year.
Once we left Camp Manitou we loaded on the bus for a quick ride (the perfect amount of time for a re-charging nap) to Boothbay Harbor, a beautiful coastal Maine town. We wandered around in groups, did a little bit of shopping, and had dinner by the water.
Today we are starting the day with elective classes and this afternoon we have another rehearsal. Tonight we have our Enkoodabao ceremony, where campers will appease the Pinter Puddle god with acts of talent. With tech week right around the corner everyone is working hard to get their shows ready.
