            Well hello there, Acting Manitou! I hope everybody's February is  filled with warmth, light, family, delicious treats, and memorable MOMents! Sometimes winter can be a bit depressing; all of a sudden everybody has dry skin and it’s cold cold cold!!! That is why I've decided to dedicate my blog post to "Things that will make your winter feel less depressing!" So without further ado, here's the list: Things to do to make your winter feel less depressing:

Start wearing hand lotion! (I use Vanilla Bean Noel from Bath and Body Works, it smells like Christmas-time, and works like a charm)

Wear bright colored clothes (like Yellow and Pink!)

Eat/Make yourself a Taco Salad! Tropical and bright flavors will help boost your happiness and fill your appetite! mmm! Zesty!

Throw pillows! (Sewing them yourself is easy and fun and super gratifying!)

Watch Raising Hope

Get Hats. Lots of em.

Start using Butter instead of Margarine. Live a little.

Work on your listening skills!

Craft (This category includes Scrapbooking, Decoupage, Evening Activity Schedules, etc.)

Use flavored creamer for your coffee (Hazelnut is soo good.)

Spend time with your family. Calling Grandma will mean the world to her!

Read a book or a play and let your imagination run wild!

Work on your self-love!! You are a catch. And you have so much to offer!! You are worthwhile and an incredible friend.

Think of how exciting it’ll be when you go back to CAMP!!


These are just some ideas to get you started!! You are the agent of your own destiny!! Choose joy even in Wintertime and think happy thoughts!
