Good morning all! It couldn't be lovelier here at Acting Manitou this morning, and camp spirits are as high as ever! Yesterday was a momentous day for campers, as it was the first day of double rehearsals, meaning campers not only worked during the normal rehearsal time, between lunch and pool time, but they also worked after dinner, in the time that's usually allotted for the evening activity.
The day began with campers waking up bright eyed and bushy tailed, wonderfully rested from Lazy Sunday the day before. After warm ups, they continued along their tracks of Master Classes and began finalizing their work in their electives, which will be presented tonight!
Afternoon rehearsals went on as usual, and after pool-time and dinner, the campers attended their first night rehearsals. This is a big step for the progress of the shows. At 9:00 when rehearsal was over, campers went back to their bunks to relax and to get a good night's sleep for the day ahead of them.
Until next time!
