It’s a beautiful Manitou morning, and it is our first Lazy Sunday of the session.
Yesterday was a very busy day. We had a full morning of master classes and electives. The campers are really starting to get into their classes and are having a fun time in their electives. In the afternoon campers had another rehearsal, in which they are starting to get really into the blocking lines and music for their shows.
Last night was our first dance of the session. We had a beautiful night under the stars as we set up to party in the large gazebo. The theme was “A Night On The Moon” and campers dressed in everything from their pajamas, dress clothes, and even some space themed outfits. Everyone had a great time dancing and hanging out with their friends.
Today is Lazy Sunday, which means the campers have a more chill day. They got to sleep in until 9am and have omelets made by the directors. Afterwards they went to take some electives taught by their fabulous bunk counselors. This afternoon there are more workshops and some time to practice their lines.
Tonight we will have a movie out on the lawn and the campers will be able to keep on relaxing and unwinding. Everyone has been working so hard, it's nice to have a break every once and a while.
